 Coming off last weekend’s very successful IKF Region 7 race at Cal Speedway in which Position One Motorsports drivers, led by Bobby Kelley and Dylan Nobile, dominated the event with multiple wins and pole positions, the crew arrived this weekend in unfamiliar territory.

 It was a busy weekend for the Position One Motorsports staff. While the team’s NASCAR program was at the Toyota Speedway for a double-header race, the team’s karting program was at Fontana’s Cal Speedway taking part in the IKF Region 7 Round # 5 race.

 Rounds #8 and #9 of the NASCAR ACDelco Super Late Model 2009 season arrived amid cloudy conditions, but for Position One Motorsports drivers Luis Martinez Jr # 03-King Taco/Eibach Springs/Molecule and Mackena Bell # 30-NASCAR Drive for Diversity/ Mackena Bell Motorsports/ K. Dub Creative Web Design/ K. Bell Tile & Marble/Sciarroni Bros Racing, McBride Machine/Bell Helmets/NGK Spark Plugs the outlook was anything but dreary. Both drivers have continued to make progress throughout the season and arrived this weekend with positive outlooks and a renewed determination to succeed at the famed ½ mile. |

 For Position One Motorsports the NASCAR ACDelco Super Late Model 2009 season, drivers Luis Martinez Jr # 03-King Taco/Eibach Springs/Molecule and Mackena Bell # 30-NASCAR Drive for Diversity/ Mackena Bell Motorsports/ K. Dub Creative Web Design/ K. Bell Tile & Marble/Sciarroni Bros Racing, McBride Machine/Bell Helmets/NGK Spark Plugs have had a season with many ups and downs. Despite it all, Martinez and Bell have kept their cool and have risen to the challenge. With the season reaching its halfway point, both drivers are looking to improve their point standings and kick it into high gear for the Summer.

With the NASCAR ACDelco Super Late Model 2009 season at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale reaching its halfway point Position One Motorsports driver Luis Martinez Jr # 03-King Taco/Eibach Springs/Molecule sits eighth place in the Championship standings with 252 points, just 34 points away from seventh. Martinez's rookie teammate Mackena Bell # 30-NASCAR Drive for Diversity/ Mackena Bell Motorsports/ K. Dub Creative Web Design/ K. Bell Tile & Marble/Sciarroni Bros Racing, McBride Machine/Bell Helmets/NGK Spark Plugs stands in twelfth place with 212 points. Both arrived at this weekend's race, rounds #9 and #10, hoping to improve their standings and Bell looking to get her first top-10 finish of the year.
