Baldwin Park, CA (July 11, 2011) - Position One Motorsports had the honor of hosting Retired Army Sergeant Eddie Gallardo and his guests at the King Taco suites this past Saturday. Ret. Sgt. Gallardo was the team’s Giving Thanks to a Hero winner and he and his guests were treated to incredible on-track racing action for their first time visit at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. While in the suites the guests were treated to catered food and arguably one of the best views that you could have at the track. The smiles on their faces made it evident that they were enjoying themselves thoroughly.
On June 25th Position One Motorsports had the privilege of hosting Tom Dunlap and his family. Tom's Son, John Dunlap, nominated his Father for the Position One recognition. Tom was a Vietnam War veteran from 1965-1966. A long time supporter of Ascot, Saugus, Mesa Marin, and Kern County Raceway, Tom enjoys short track racing and we were happy to provide him and his family with 6 track tickets as well as passes to the King Taco suite!

POSITION ONE MOTORSPORTS SAYS ‘THANK YOU’ TO AMERICAN VETERAN HEROES
Giving Thanks to a Hero” program will recognize America’s Military best Baldwin Park, CA (May 24, 2011) - Position One Motorsports is pleased to announce that, beginning at the May 28th Late Model race event held at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, the team will be officially launching its "Giving Thanks to a Hero" program. The contest will honor a person who is serving, or has served in the Military, by providing them with track admission and suite passes for themselves and 5 of their guests. With servicemen/servicewomen and their families involved in the 10-year plus war on terrorism and the enormous sacrifices many of them have had to make in order to make this country safer, the Position One Motorsports team is hoping that the program will in some small way show that the team, along with the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale racing community, is appreciative of their sacrifices.
