For Round 3 of the IKF Region 7 Championship, the team decided to pack their bags and head over to Primm, NV.  Buffalo Bills was the site of the team’s third stop of their 2010 tour.

Getting back in winning mode took the crew a bit more work than they thought, but everyone finally came together and capped off the weekend in great form.  Although the entries seemed light for a favored event such as this, the team took no time to post some fast times with very accomplished competitors. 

 On Saturday’s Spec PRD class, Bobby Kelley put his Maddox on the pole, with his teammate Devin Lindsey immediately behind him on the grid in P3, and Airel Jimenez qualifying 5^th in her Avanti.  It was P1 on the inside row for the heat and the main event. Kelley was able to take the win in his Maddox/P1 Engines machine, while Devin finished in 4^th after losing a position to karting veteran Matt Johnson.

 For Sunday’s TaG Sr class, it was Position One drivers qualifying in the top four positions.  This time, it was Devin on the Pole in his Maddox/P1 Engines with Airel Jimenez alongside, in her Avanti/Leopard.  Bobby Kelley and Luis Martinez Jr filled the 2^nd row on the grid.  Luis Jr was black-flagged on lap one for rough driving and was taken out of competition for the remainder of the heat.  Devin Lindsey went on to win the heat with Kelley and Jimenez taking the 2^nd and 3^rd positions. In the main event, Devin kept the lead from the start and never looked back.  Kelley’s greatest attempt for the lead came late in the race but wasn’t able to challenge it and remained in 2^nd.  Airel Jimenez scored her best finish with a solid 3^rd place.  Martinez, showed once again that karting is in his blood.  In wet weather conditions, he was able to muscle his Maddox/P1 Engines entry from the back of the field to a very impressive 4^th.

 Next stop for the team will be this coming weekend at Infineon Raceway with Pro Kart Challenge.  Position One Drivers for this upcoming event will be Bobby Kelley, Devin Lindsey and NorCal local Devin Sanchez.  Also testing for the first time in an Avanti Cadet will be Skylar Estrada, joining the team for the much acclaimed 2010 SKUSA Pro Tour.
