The Yamaha engine is one of the oldest Karting engines still in active competition. This engine is not offered at many club events but is still highly competitive at the regional and national events.
P1 Yamahas have been a success from the beginning winning in everything from Regional to National Championships multiple times. Just recently winning 5 National Championships at the 2008 2 cycle Sprint Nationals. |

 | Comer K 80
The comer K80 engine is great for the Kid Kart driver moving up in category. The speed is much less than the HPV 1 and allows for the beginner to hone their driving skills. This Engine is also raced at just about every local track and is also a national class. P1 engines has been successful with the k80 engine winning many events including the 2007 CA State championship and recently qualifying on pole for the Snap On Stars of Karting event held at MMP. |

The C50 engine is designed for the beginner ages 5 – 7. Even though it’s a beginner class the racing is very intense for this group. Engines are blueprinted and dyno tuned just like any other engine. P1 C50’s have always been a big contender since our involvement with this engine. |
